The RCX 1804 2400kv Micro Size Outrunner Brushless Motor has been specifically designed for use on small multirotors airframes. The RCX 1804 2400kv is a small yet powerful motor, its capable of running on either a 2s or 3s LiPo battery setup and was designed to run on 5″ props.

During the testing of the RCX 1804 2400kv motor it showed that this motor at full load demanded between 6A – 8A current., this means that the ESC needed to power this motor is above 12 Amps, the Lumenier 12 Amp ESC with SimonK Firmware would be a great choice. This motor is compatible with the QAV250 Mini FPV Quadcopter (please note you might require an M2x5 screw with larger head or washer and a litte modification to the QAV250 motor mounting plate to make this motor mount flush on the arm, be sure not to use a screw which is to long as this will pass through the motor base and damge the windings of the stator).
