The Lumenier QAV180 Carbon Fiber FPV Quadcopter airframe is Lumenier’s smallest mini racing FPV quad frame to date. The QAV180 has been designed around 4″ props and 1806 size motors with 2300kv, the Lumenier FXC1806-14 2300kv Motors are a great choice with this frame. The QAV180 kit contains Carbon Fiber Plates, Power Distribution Board, the frame and all hardware supplied weighs in at only 85g.

The included landing gear adds another 5g, however this is optional for the pilot looking to keep their frame as light as possible. The Lumenier QAV180 uses the same high quality 3K carbon fiber that is precision machined for a superb fit-and-finish as seen in the QAV250 Mini FPV Quadcopter Carbon Fiber Edition. The QAV180 is an awesome FPV racer and acrobat. The frame is designed to mount a 26mm FPV camera at a range of angles. Alternatively, the frame also includes a mounting plate to mount standard 32mm board cameras at a fixed 20 degree angle.

The Lumenier QAV180 airframe is designed to support both 3s or 4s lipo setups and can comfortably carry a 1000mah LiPo, the Desire Power 3S LiPo Battery 1300 mAh 35C lipo’s will fit as well. The maximum flight weight for the airframe including all parts is between 250 – 275 grams.

The QAV180 arms have an extended lip around the edge closest to the motor, this acts as a bumper when landing hard or flying into objects, the arms also feature multiple motor mounting holes to fit a variety of motors with M3 and M2 screw mounting patterns. The flight controller cover board has a cut out to allow for a SMA connector / video transmitter to be mounted.
