FTDI Cable 3.3 Volt

All of the FTDI circuit is inside of the USB connector, this makes it look like a regular USB cable. Note: The TX/RX signals are 3.3volts, making it even more flexible, the power supply is 5volts (red wire) on this cable.

This FTDI cable is practical and easy to use for programming. Mainly used to program the Ardupilot Mega board, however it can be used for any number of programming applications.

When you look carefully at at the FTDI cable you will see the labels “BLK” (black) and “GRN” (green), these colors indicate the polarity of this cable.

This cable can also be also used to flash firmware for the MTK GPS units.
