Flite Test Tiny Trainer Speed Build Kit

The Flite Test Tiny Trainer was designed to teach new pilots the basic skills of model flight. The Tiny Trainer uses simple construction methods with very few parts making it easy to build and maintain. Combined with its excellent predictable and docile flight characteristics this makes an ideal first model.

The air frame is made from light weight yet durable Flite Test WR Foam Board which has a special coating making it resistant to water. The material sold separately is very cheap so when you damage a part beyond repair it’s simple to make a new one. Hot glue and clear tape are all that is needed to assemble this model which keeps costs down and makes building more achievable for those with little experience.

The Tiny Trainer can be built as a free flight, 2 channel glider or 3 channel electric powered model. For those starting out in the hobby, it’s great to be able to experience all three disciplines and progress with this model before moving on to 4 channels with the sport wing, included in the kit. You can then teach yourself basic aerobatics with the addition of ailerons before progressing again to a more capable model.
