Flite Test Sportster Speed Build Kit

The Flite Test Sportster is a great introduction to 4 channel low wing R/C planes with an undercarriage. The Sportster is easy to fly and can be enjoyed by beginner and advanced pilots due to its good flight characteristics and aerobatic capabilities. Due to having a tail dragging style undercarriage, pilots can now experience proper takeoffs and landings which takes more skill to achieve making this model the perfect next step on from the Tiny Trainer.

Different build techniques and more detail on this model mean a little more work is needed and new skills will be learnt, but still a very enjoyable process. A heavy duty card is used for the top turtle decking on the fuselage and the open cockpit lends itself well for micro FPV installs or even a micro pilot. The semi-scale period racer look with dummy engine gives this model character and a classic look. The card much like the foam, can be painted or have vinyl decals applied allowing to builder to customize the look of their model and make it unique.
